We now have an exciting opportunity open to bring a Social Media and Community Coordinator onboard our marketing team in Australia for both Marley Spoon and Dinnerly.

 

The role:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the community of Marley Spoon and Dinnerly on social media while driving engagement on our social media platforms through relevant content. You will also be responsible for managing the reputation of both brands through review websites.

 

- Responsible for deploying content in relation to the monthly content themes in collaboration with the Content Manager across all social media platforms.

- Manage all communication on social media handles including reputation management on review websites and Google Reviews.

- Manage and respond to all questions and comments on social media including responding to questions on online ads for both brands in collaboration with the Customer Care team.

- Stay up to date with trends, best practices and platform updates for all social media channels.

- Create a loyal and engaged following on social media for both brands.

- Analyse and report on weekly metrics for both brands with a monthly wrap up on content themes.

- Support the Content Manager with photoshoots, copywriting and partnership management.

- Influencer marketing.

 

You have:

  • An ability to take initiative, get things done and take ownership.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond.
  • A creative flair and love for social media.
  • A passion for food and cooking.
  • Strong attention to detail.

 

Preferred requirements for this role:

  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities including short and long form content experience
  • Creativity, a good visual eye for social media aesthetic and a love of storytelling
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in social media, marketing or communications.
  • An understanding of how to prepare social media reporting and analyse results to optimise ads.
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Google).
  • Experience and/or basic knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram for business and Hootsuite.
  • Experience and/or basic knowledge of Google Analytics and CLID tracking
  • Start-up experience.
  • Experience in ecommerce or food industry.
  • Experience at a creative agency working on communication strategy and copywriting.
  • Degree in marketing and communications.
