We offer chef-designed easy-to-cook recipes. In Australia. we have two brands: Marley Spoon and Dinnerly. Our customers select what they would like to cook, and we deliver the recipes and all the ingredients they need. Operating across 3 continents, 6 countries and with 700+ employees, we are a growing business that seeks to bring delicious meals to our customers while reducing unethical food waste.

But in the end it's simple: we started Marley Spoon because we love cooking, and we love eating!

We are searching for a Social Media & Community Coordinator, who will cover both of our brands. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create content for Social Media with support from Content Manager
  • Own social media handles, including the management of comments to posts and paid ads (whether from Display or Social)
  • Creation, execution and KPI governance of re-marketing strategy across social handles and optimization towards increased engagement
  • Manage reputation across both brands and platforms
  • Reputation management - track reviews and manage any review programs
  • Assist with crisis management and negative news communications
  • Support Content Manager with creation and project management of social media marketing plan and editorial calendar, including monthly engagement campaigns towards non-prospecting audiences
  • Support Content Manager on content creation for other brand outlets, including website and mobile app, the blog and in-box experience
  • Work from our office in Alexandria, Sydney while maintaining strong lines of communication with our headquarters in Berlin, Germany

Requirements:

  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities
  • Creativity and a love of language and content that's ready to be unleashed
  • A strong analytical mindset and understanding on how to prepare, analyse and read data, using it to continuously to optimise your activities
  • Project management to lead and deliver multiple projects
  • An excellent work ethic and a tendency to go above and beyond
  • An appetite to learn -- about new channels, content, and customer behavior
  • An ability to take the initiative to push things forward
  • An ability to take ownership but comfortable asking for help when stuck
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for food
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Google Docs)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in using Facebook Ads Manager and Facebook Power Editor
  • Experience with Hootsuite
  • Start-up experience
